Laparoscopic TLH

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy TLH stands for a minimally invasive surgery that involves the removal of the uterus. It is one technique where little cuts are made on the abdomen and through which the surgical instruments and laparoscope are injected into the body for viewing. There is always an improved view of the inside organs on the monitor with the help of a thin tube provided with the camera and light, and this will make the surgeon remove the uterus accurately.

It has several benefits over traditional open surgery, such as less pain, minimal scarring, and a short period of recovery. Most people undergo the procedure for the management of most gynaecological conditions, for instance, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, and pelvic pain. Patients usually resume their activities earlier compared to patients undergoing the traditional surgery. Most women seek it because it becomes a more preferred mode of treatment for most gynaecological conditions. At Shubham Nursing Home, we work towards good, compassionate care and ensure that every patient who comes for surgery to our end feels supported all the time throughout their surgery.

Removal of Uterus

The procedure involves the complete removal of the uterus, and in some cases, may also include the removal of the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Minimally Invasive Procedure

TLH is performed through small incisions, resulting in less trauma to the body compared to traditional open surgery.

Quick Recovery

Most patients can return to normal activities within a few weeks, significantly faster than recovery from open surgery.
